Adrian Peterson happy with Minnesota Vikings

Adrian Peterson admits that he wasn't happy about being with the Minnesota Vikings at the end of last season.

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has insisted that he has "bought back in" to the organisation's vision of trying to win a title.

The veteran star admits that he was frustrated with the decision to fire former coach Leslie Frazier, and as a result he considered moving on before settling with the new coaching staff.

"That changed when these guys came in, and Draft picks and different things like that. [I] bought back in, and I'll let it ride out," Peterson said, ESPN reports.

Peterson is currently signed through to 2017 and is the highest-paid running back in the NFL, but he concedes that if he no longer feels wanted then he would re-think his future.
