Half-Time Report: Seattle Seahawks shutting out Minnesota Vikings

Seahawks shutting out Vikings

The Seattle Seahawks shut out the Minnesota Vikings in the first half of their NFL game, opening up a 21-0 lead over the NFC North side.

The Seahawks lost possession early on when Thomas Rawls fumbled the ball, with Antone Exum recovering for the home side at the Minnesota 30-yard line, but the Vikings could not make the most of the turnover.

Luke Willson and Tyler Lockett both made big gains as Seattle got the ball back, before Russell Wilson rushed to the three-yard line, leaving Rawls to power over on the next play.

Both teams' defenses forced punts, but Wilson managed to double the NFC West side's advantage late in the second quarter, recovering from a sack before sprinting through the middle to find the endzone.

Teddy Bridgewater quickly handed possession back to the visitors, throwing an interception to give Wilson the ball in a strong field position, allowing him to connect with Doug Baldwin for another score.
