Miami Dolphins didn't try to acquire Jim Harbaugh

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross dismisses speculation that he tried to appoint Jim Harbaugh as coach of the franchise.

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has insisted that the organisation did not attempt to acquire former San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh.

During the introduction of new signing Ndamukong Suh, Ross specifically addressed the rumours and dismissed them as completely untrue.

"Forget what the press said," Ross said, according to the Detroit Free Press.

"We didn't try for him here."

Ross made an approach for Harbaugh back in 2011 prior to his move to the 49ers.
