Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson would like to see running back Reggie Bush move to the Lions.

Nate Burleson has urged Reggie Bush to consider a move to the Detroit Lions ahead of the 2013 NFL season.

The Miami Dolphins running back is at the end of his contract with the AFC East side.

The Lions wide receiver told NFL Network: "I'm going to just say this, 'Reggie Bush, you already took your talents to South Beach, come on to Detroit'.

"I know it's not as sunny, and it might not be the same type of glitz and glamour, but you can do wonders for us.

"He came from USC, and everybody knows he can go out there and shake a little bit, wiggle a little bit and break that big run. And for him to put up two 1,000-yard seasons the last couple years proves that he's still an elite running back. And if I can get Reggie Bush in a Detroit Lions uniform, ooh-wee, watch out."

The 27-year-old has been the Dolphins' leading rusher over the last two seasons, having moved to Miami from the New Orleans Saints in 2011.
