Kansas City Chiefs have secured a comfortable 41-14 victory over the New England Patriots, with Jamaal Charles impressing with three touchdowns.

Charles went over the line with 13 minutes gone in the first quarter before Cairo Santos added to the score with the resulting kick.

Santos kicked a field goal in the second period after adding to Charles's second down of the game four minutes into the second quarter.

The pair were at it once again after half time before Brandon LaFell scored a touchdown of his own for the Patriots 12 minutes into the third quarter.

However, Travis Kelce and Husain Abdullah put the gloss on the result with touchdowns in the final quarter for the Chiefs, as Rob Gronkowski ran in a consolation.
