John Dorsey: 'AJ Jenkins can add value to Kansas City Chiefs'

Kansas City Chiefs general manager John Dorsey believes that the trade to bring wide receiver AJ Jenkins to Arrowhead will be beneficial for everyone involved.

John Dorsey has said that he expects AJ Jenkins to add value to the Kansas City Chiefs after joining the AFC West side earlier today.

The Chiefs agreed a trade with the San Francisco 49ers to acquire the wide receiver, with fellow wideout Jon Baldwin joining the NFC West side in exchange for the 2012 first-round draft pick.

The general manager told the Chiefs' official website: "We felt like this trade was beneficial for all parties involved.

"AJ is a talented individual with a skill-set that we feel can add value to our football team.

"Jon Baldwin is a hardworking player and a professional. We wish him nothing but the best moving forward."

Jenkins played three games for the 49ers during his rookie season, but failed to make a reception.
