Knile Davis claims to be as good as Jamaal Charles

Kansas City Chiefs running back Knile Davis has claimed that he is as good as star performer Jamaal Charles.

Charles is one of the NFL's top running backs, and makes an average gain of 5.5 yards per run.

However, Davis has told the Chiefs coaching staff that he is able to fill in should Charles miss the beginning of the season.

He told ESPN: "I don't feel like there's a gap. He's the starter. It's his time. I'm waiting [until] my time."

Davis has scored 10 touchdowns in his two seasons.
