Luck steers Colts to victory over Giants

Andrew Luck threw two touchdown passes to help the Indianapolis Colts beat the New York Giants 20-12 in a pre-season match last night.

The Giants took the lead in the first quarter when Josh Brown hit a field goal from 25 yards, but the Colts responded with their first touchdown of the evening, Luck finding Reggie Wayne in the end zone with a 28-yard pass.

Adam Vinteri added the extra point before finishing the quarter with a field goal of his own to give the Colts a 10-3 lead.

This was extended further with 9:41 left in the second quarter when Luck threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to TY Hilton.

Brown set about reducing the deficit with a couple of field goals before half time, but each side could only manage one more kick apiece in the second period to finish the match 20-12.
