Brown: 'O'Brien will put the team first'

Duane Brown has described Bill O'Brien as a "hard-nosed guy" following his appointment of the Houston Texans' new head coach.

The former Penn State coach was placed in charge of the AFC South side after Gary Kubiak was fired midway through the 2013 season.

The tackle told the team's website: "He's a straight shooter, a hard-nosed guy. He's all about the team, putting the team first.

"I respect that and I'm ready to go to work. I'm looking forward to making this one of my most productive off-seasons."

Brown is one of two Texans players preparing to play in this weekend's Pro Bowl, alongside defensive end JJ Watt.
