Aaron Rodgers: 'We expect greatness'

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers insists that he still expects "greatness" from his side despite suffering from a number of injury problems.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has insisted that he still expects "greatness" from his side despite a number of injury problems.

The Packers were without receivers Randall Cobb, James Jones and Jermichael Finley for yesterday's match against the Minnesota Vikings but still managed to record a 44-31 victory to remain top of the NFC North.

Rodgers admitted that a lot of pressure fell on him with a number of back-up receivers coming into the side, but believes that they stepped up well in a hostile environment.

"We expect greatness out of our guys. I wasn't going to let this team beat us. A lot was on my shoulders," Rodgers told the Associated Press.

"We've got a great team, very well-coached. Guys are ready to play. It was loud in here. It was a tough environment, but guys stepped up."

Green Bay will face the Chicago Bears in an NFC North clash next Monday.
