Green Bay Packers' Mike Daniels still "very angry" at Seattle Seahawks loss

The Green Bay Packers should have killed off the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC championship game, says Mike Daniels.

Green Bay Packers defensive end Mike Daniels has admitted that he is still angry over his team's defeat by the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC championship game.

The Packers led for much of the game but lost in overtime thanks to a Jermaine Kearse touchdown, and Daniels is still frustrated with the result.

He told NFL AM: "I'm still very angry about that. I am. You said 'we had them, but we didn't have them.' We had them. We got to make sure we finish it. You can't leave. When you are fighting Mike Tyson, you got to knock him out. You can't let him linger around."

The Packers will face the Seahawks at Lambeau Field at some point this season, and the 25-year-old is keen to exact revenge.

He added: "We had to go travel to 12-man Land three times, well I know I've played there three times in my career. So I'm looking forward to getting them at home."

The Packers last won the Super Bowl in 2010.
