Report: Ndamukong Suh to team up with rapper Jay-Z

Rap star Jay Z is reportedly set to add Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh to his Roc Nation label, representing him in his upcoming contract negotiations.

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is to be represented by rap mogul Jay-Z and his Roc Nation label during both contract negotiations and marketing, according to a report on ESPN.

Before the Pro Bowl, Suh decided to fire his pair of agents and his $22.4m (£13.5m) salary cap number in 2014 gives him leverage heading into negotiations with his team.

Jay-Z already has the likes of New York Giants wideout Victor Cruz and New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith signed to his books, as well as baseball pitcher CC Sabathia and basketball star Kevin Durant.

Suh's contract is in its final year of his rookie deal, and he recorded 49 tackles and 5.5 sacks last season.
