Detroit Lions waive off Jon Baldwin

The Detroit Lions decide to waive off Jon Baldwin after the player fails a physical due to a problem with his left knee.

The Detroit Lions have already waived off Jon Baldwin because of a failed physical, despite only bringing him in on Monday.

The 25-year-old was originally a first-round pick for the Kansas City Chiefs, before he moved to the San Francisco 49ers, where the wide receiver also experienced injury problems before being released by the team.

Baldwin was the 26th overall pick during the 2011 Draft and last season played sparingly, catching only three passes for a total of 28 yards across seven fixtures.

Reasoning behind the player's failed physical surrounds a problem with discomfort in Baldwin's left knee.
