Detroit Lions: 'We'll be careful with injured Joique Bell'

Questions remain over Bell's fitness

Detroit Lions running back Joique Bell may not be 100% fit for the team's training camp, according to offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi.

Bell had surgery on his knee and Achilles in the off-season and Lombardi admits that he will have to be careful with him.

He told the Lions website: "Really, I think your biggest concern is just, is he going to be able to get in the shape that you wanted to at the beginning of camp. But we'll be careful with him and smart and ramp him up as we go."

Bell scored seven touchdowns in 15 games last season.
