Demaryius Thomas: Peyton Manning throwing ball with "more zip"

Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas has revealed that Peyton Manning is throwing the ball with more pace in pre-season.

The 39-year-old quarterback was criticised towards the end of last season, and reportedly considered retirement at the end of the 2014 campaign.

However, Thomas has hinted that Manning has looked in top form in training.

He told 9 News: "I know you're not going to believe this, but it seems like he has more zip."

Manning has the record for the most career touchdowns ever thrown with 530.
