Green practises for third straight day

Cincinnati Bengals receiver AJ Green participated in the team's final practice of the week on Thursday and is expected to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend.

Green has been sidelined by a toe injury for the past three games but he insisted after last week's win that he felt at "80%" and that he would play in week nine.

The 26-year-old's ability to practise for a third consecutive day suggests that he has a good chance of making his return provided that he doesn't suffer any further setbacks.

Jacksonville are 1-7 for the season and their defense has allowed 24 completions of 20-plus air yards, which has resulted in Green being determined to return to the field this weekend.

In contrast, the Bengals are 4-2-1 for the season so far and they sit atop the AFC North ahead of Sunday's encounter.
