Report: Linebacker Vontaze Burfict may miss Cincinnati Bengals training camp

The Cincinnati Bengals are reportedly not convinced that linebacker Vontaze Burfict will return for the beginning of their training camp in July.

The 24-year-old played just five times last season and underwent microfracture knee surgery in January.

The Bengals initially thought that he could be fit in time to join his teammates on day one of the camp, but NFL Media reports that they fear he may miss the start of the season.

Burfict joined the Ohio team in 2012.
