Cutler guides Bears past Raiders

The Chicago Bears survived a second-half comeback from the Oakland Raiders to secure a 34-26 win over the AFC West side.

Starting quarterback Jay Cutler led the Bears on five scoring plays in the opening two quarters, finding Matt Forte with a 32-yard touchdown pass, while Michael Bush added two rushing effort and Robbie Gould kicked a pair of field goals.

Sebastian Janikowski got the Raiders on the board just before half time, kicking a 58-yard field goal.

Terrell Pryor inspired a strong third quarter for Oakland, rushing for a 25-yard touchdown early on, before finding Nick Kasa with a 19-yard pass as the team scored 17 points in 15 minutes.

Michael Ford ended the Raiders' dominant spell with a 15-yard run in the fourth, keeping the Bears in a strong position, before Matthew McGloin passed to Jamize Olawale for a late Raiders consolation.

Next week, the Bears face the Cleveland Browns, while the Raiders will play the Seattle Seahawks.
