Elliott ruled out for season

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Kevin Elliott has been ruled out for the entire 2013 NFL season with a torn ACL.

Elliott suffered the injury during the Bills' 20-16 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Friday.

The 24-year-old was a member of the Bills practice squad ahead of the new season, but coach Doug Marrone confirmed that he will have no further part to play in the upcoming campaign.

"Wide receiver Kevin Elliott has a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season," Marrone said in a team statement.

Elliott played for the Jacksonville Jaguars during his rookie season in 2012 but was released in December of last year.
