Brandon Stokley rejoins Baltimore Ravens

Wide receiver Brandon Stokley rejoins the Baltimore Ravens less than a week after being released by the Super Bowl champions.

The Baltimore Ravens have announced that Brandon Stokley has rejoined the team.

The wide receiver was released at the weekend so that the Super Bowl champions could bring in tight end Billy Bajema.

Head coach John Harbaugh explained that the 37-year-old has a hip injury, and that they needed players available for their game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

The AFC North side released Bajema to make room for Stokley on their 53-man active roster.
