Torrey Smith: Baltimore Ravens need a "move the chains" receiver

Baltimore Ravens wideout Torrey Smith says some help in his position would be "welcomed with open arms", as the team looks to add to its roster this off-season.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith has said that he is excited by the prospect of the franchise adding other players in his position to their roster.

General manager Ozzie Newsome is reportedly keen to add to the team's receiving corps, with tight ends Dennis Pitta and Ed Dickson and wideout Jacoby Jones all unrestricted free agents who are yet to agree new deals.

Smith told the club's official website: "A 'move the chains guy' is probably someone that we need on a consistent basis. Another weapon like that is just another person that Joe [Flacco] can rely on.

"I think the more, the merrier. The more help you can have, no matter what position it is, that's only going to make us stronger as a unit. Whoever we bring in, whether it's a free agent or a rookie, we'll welcome him with open arms."

Field-stretching wideout Smith is coming off the best individual season of his career, having caught 65 passes for 1,128 yards and four touchdowns.
