Kroy Biermann signs new Atlanta Falcons deal

Defensive end Kroy Biermann has signed a new deal with the Atlanta Falcons.

Biermann was expected to leave the NFC South side after seven seasons, but he has been retained to complement new signings Adrian Clayborn and O'Brien Schofield.

The 29-year-old was a fifth-round pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, and he has gone on to play 277 times for the team.

Biermann has made 21 sacks and 184 tackles in his NFL career so far.
