Half-Time Report: Seattle Seahawks ahead against Atlanta Falcons

Seahawks ahead against Falcons

The Seattle Seahawks are on course for a fifth consecutive win having gone into the half-time interval of their match against the Atlanta Falcons with a 23-3 lead.

Seattle were the first to register on the scoreboard, doing so midway through the first quarter courtesy of a 39-yard Steven Hauschka field goal.

Hauschka then doubled that lead early in the second quarter with his second kick of the match, this time slotting it through the posts from 43 yards out.

Matt Bryant reduced the deficit back to three with a mammoth 53-yard kick with 6:37 left in the half, but the Seahawks then took control of the contest going into the break.

Russell Wilson sent a deep 43-yard pass to Jermaine Kearse, who collected it in the end zone with a good catch under pressure from a defender.

Hauschka added a third kick late in the half to give his side a comfortable 13-point lead that was extended even further by a late seven-yard touchdown from Golden Tate.
