Half-Time Report: Atlanta Falcons come from behind to lead

Falcons come from behind to lead

The Atlanta Falcons have come from behind to lead the Green Bay Packers 21-10 at half time of their NFL encounter at a snowy Lambeau Field.

The Packers took the lead on the final play of the first quarter when Eddie Lacy bundled his way over the line from just one yard out.

The Falcons levelled things up early in the second when Matt Ryan threw a short pass down the middle to Drew Davis, who ran into the endzone to complete a 36-yard score.

The visitors completed their turnaround shortly afterwards when Ryan picked out a wide open Tony Gonzalez from two yards for his second touchdown pass of the match.

Green Bay reduced the deficit to four points with 3:43 left in the half as Mason Crosby successfully kicked a 40-yard field goal to make it 14-10.

There was still time for the Falcons to score a third touchdown before half time, however, as Sean Weatherspoon picked off a poor Matt Flynn pass before returning it 71 yards for a touchdown.
