Arizona Cardinals deny New England Patriots approach for Larry Fitzgerald

The Arizona Cardinals have denied that the New England Patriots made an approach over a trade for Larry Fitzgerald.

According to reports, the AFC East side were interested in acquiring the wide receiver during the 2013 NFL season.

However, Cardinals general manager Steve Keim dismissed the speculation at the scouting combine, stating that he never received a call from Patriots about Fitzgerald.

The 30-year-old recently restructured his contract with the team.
