Grundy takes wrestling bronze

Mike Grundy has won a bronze medal for England in this evening's men's freestyle 74kg at the Commonwealth Games.

The Wigan-based wrestler made light work of Malta's David Galea with a rapid 10-0 technical superiority victory at the SECC to take bronze.

Sushil Kumar - one of the poster boys of the Games for India - claimed gold having overcome Qamar Abbas of Pakistan 8-0 in the final of the event.

Grundy had earlier defeated Gerald Meyer and Romeo Djoumessi to set up the contest with Galea.
