James Machon invites Jessica Ennis-Hill to try half-pipe skiing

Freestyle skier James Machon has invited his idol Jessica Ennis-Hill to try half-pipe skiing with him, after receiving a good-luck message from the athlete via Twitter.

Machon has stated that he would like to emulate Ennis-Hill's London Olympic Games success from 2012 when he takes to the slopes at Sochi 2014.

After tagging her in an article, Ennis-Hill responded to Machon, saying: "Wishing u lots of luck James! Have a great one."

Machon replied back: "Thanks for the tweet Jess! If you ever want to try Ski Halfpipe let me know!"

The 23-year-old will be taking part in his first Winter Olympic Games.
