Team GB curler Michael Goodfellow: 'Really weird being Olympic medallist'

Michael Goodfellow admits that it feels "really weird" being a Winter Olympic silver medallist as part of Team GB's men's curling team.

Team GB curler Michael Goodfellow had admitted that it feels "really weird" being a Winter Olympic silver medallist.

Great Britain missed out on winning gold after losing 9-3 against Canada today, picking up silver.

"It seems really weird saying that we are silver medallists," the 25-year-old told BBC Sport. "The fact that for three of us this is our first Olympics, to come away with a silver medal is amazing."

Teammate Scott Andrews added: "We didn't make enough shots, it wasn't to be. We've got a bit more experienced and the future is bright for this team."

Britain have now won four medals at the Sochi Games.
