Curling coach David Hay "proud" of Team Muirhead

Great Britain's women's curling coach David Hay says that he is "proud" of the team, despite their defeat in the semi-finals at the Winter Olympics.

Great Britain's women's curling coach David Hay has said that he is "proud" of his players, despite them missing out on a place in the Winter Olympics final.

Eve Muirhead's rink were beaten 6-4 in their semi-final against Canada earlier today, and will face Switzerland for the bronze medal tomorrow.

Hay said: "They played really well and I am proud of them. The first thing they said in the changing room was, 'we are going to get that bronze tomorrow'."

Canada will take on Sweden in the gold medal match.
