Serbia beat Spain to win gold in the men's water polo

Serbia beat Spain 8-7 to win the gold medal in the men's water polo at the European Games in Baku.

Spain led 6-5 midway through the third period but their opponents limited them to only one goal for the remainder of the match to take the gold.

Greece won the bronze medal with an 11-10 victory over Croatia.

Serbia beat Romania, Italy and Greece on their way to the final.

It is Serbia's seventh gold of the Games.
