Great Britain have won a volleyball match at the Olympics for the first time in Games history.
Team GB's women overcame African champions Algeria, who are ranked 53 places above them, in five sets at Earls Court.
The opening set was a closely-contested back-and-forth affair that Algeria eventually took by a score of 25-22.
GB had never previously won a set at this level but they broke their duck in dominant style, taking the second 25-19.
Algeria then regained the lead by triumphing 25-23 in the third, before the hosts ensured that the contest would go the distance by claiming the fourth 25-19.
Audrey Cooper's side then bossed the final set, sealing victory 15-8 at 12.37am.
