Vicky Holland praises "fantastic" course

Vicky Holland has hailed the triathlon course at Strathclyde Park as "fantastic" following her bronze medal in the Commonwealth Games.

The Team England athlete, who finished third in Motherwell earlier this afternoon, also believes that the course "showed up the strongest all-round athletes".

"The course was fantastic. We always knew it was going to a tough course – a hilly, true course. It really showed up the strongest all-round athletes," Holland told reporters.

Teammate Jodie Stimpson took gold to become the first medallist of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
