Tommy Robredo moves into the second round of the French Open with a four-set triumph over Andrey Golubev.

Tommy Robredo has earned a four-set win over Andrey Golubev to reach round two of the French Open.

The Spaniard let an early 2-0 lead slip in the opening set as Golubev recovered to come through 6-3.

However, Robredo battled back with his trademark doggedness to win 3-6 6-1 7-5 6-3.

The world number 19 will now meet either Sam Querrey or Borna Coric for a spot in the third round of the tournament.
