Australia's relay team has won the gold medal in the 4x100m freestyle.
The squad, led off by Alicia Coutts, edged out hotly-tipped favourites the Netherlands with a record-breaking finish time of 3:33.15.
Melanie Schlanger, who capped off the victory by holding the lead at the death, said: "I can't take the smile off my face. When I saw we were leading I thought 'you can't let the team down'."
Holland had to settle for second place and sliver with their time of 3:33.79, while the US bagged bronze with 3:34.24.
Great Britain, who edged through the heats with a join-seventh place finish, finished in fifth place behind China.
