Cate Campbell leads Australia to clean sweep in women's 100m freestyle final

Australia record a clean sweep of medals in the women's 100m freestyle final as sisters Cate and Bronte Campbell claim gold and silver, with Emma McKeon taking the bronze.

Sisters Cate and Bronte Campbell led Australia to a clean sweep of medals in the women's 100m freestyle final this evening.

Cate Campbell dominated the race from start to finish and took gold with a Commonwealth Games record time of 52.68s.

Australia's success was completed by Emma McKeon, who finished third to add a bronze medal to the gold she won in the women's 200m freestyle on Thursday.

Team England's Fran Halsall finished in 53.99s to claim fourth place.
