England's Laura Massaro keen for redemption in squash final

Massaro keen for redemption

Laura Massaro has said that England's women's doubles side will go into their Commonwealth Games final having learned lessons from four years ago.

The 30-year-old lost out to New Zealand with teammate Jenny Duncalf at Delhi 2010 for a gold medal, but after overcoming compatriots Emma Beddoes and Alison Waters in the semi-finals earlier today, the pair will have a shot at redemption this weekend.

"We are the number one seeds and we want to earn that number one status," Massaro told reporters. "We have got loads that we can learn from and improve on from four years ago and if we can do that then we have every chance."

Massaro won silver in the squash women's singles earlier this week in Glasgow.
