England's Jenny Duncalf humble in final defeat

Team England's Jenny Duncalf admits that she and Laura Massaro were beaten by the better team at the Commonwealth Games as they lost to India in their squash doubles final.

Team England's Jenny Duncalf has admitted that she and teammate Laura Massaro were beaten by the better side in their women's doubles final defeat to India at the Commonwealth Games.

The duo lost to Dipika Pallikal and Joshana Chinappa in straight sets at the Scotstoun Campus in the gold-medal match, as they were forced to settle for silver.

Duncalf told reporters: "I think we got beat by a better pair to be honest, it's disappointing but they played really well.

"The second game we had a lead but then struggled to get a point. They were a bit more positive than us out there. But it's still a silver medal."

Massaro claimed her second silver medal of the Games after her loss in the final of the women's singles.
