Emma Beddoes looking forward to all-England semi

Team England's Emma Beddoes admits that she is relishing her and partner's Alison Waters showdown against England teammates Jenny Duncalf and Laura Massaro.

Team England's Emma Beddoes has revealed that she is looking forward to facing her teammates Jenny Duncalf and Laura Massaro in the semi-finals of the women's doubles badminton.

Beddoes and her partner Alison Waters defeated Malaysia's Nicol David and Wee Wern Low in straight sets to book the showdown with their teammates in the semis on Saturday.

She told reporters: "That's how it goes, it's unfortunate but we're going to be ready for it tomorrow. We obviously know their game well, they know our game well, hopefully it will be a great game and we hope to come out on the right side of it."

Beddoes and Water have both failed to claim a medal yet in the Games, as Waters was defeated in her bronze-medal match against New Zealand's Joelle King.
