Serbia pip Portugal to shooting gold at European Games

Serbia's Damir Mikec narrowly beat Joao Costa to claim gold in the men's 10m air pistol final in Baku on Wednesday afternoon.

Mikec recorded a score of 201.8, pipping Portugal's Costa who scored 201.5, while Juraj Turinsky, of Slovakia, picked up the bronze with 180.1.

All three men will also take part in the men's 50m pistol event, which takes place on Saturday.

The gold is Serbia's fifth at the European Games, putting them up to fourth in the medals table.
