Tatsiana Matsko clinches sambo gold for Belarus

Tatsiana Matsko has claimed victory in the -64kg women's sambo to deliver Belarus their 10th gold medal at the European Games.

Dominant throughout the competition, it was another confident performance from Matsko as she held off the challenge of Ukraine's Olena Sayko to earn a 2-0 win in the final.

Sayko was forced to settle for a silver medal, while Russia managed to claim another medal as Anna Shcherbakova beat Bulgaria's Vanya Ivanova to bronze.

France's Sarah Loko also walked away with a bronze medal after a comfortable 4-0 victory over Ecaterina Cretu of Moldova, which was secured with four hold-down points.
