Andy Goode inspires Worcester win

Andy Goode scores 18 points as Worcester Warriors inflict more Aviva Premiership pain upon Sale Sharks.

Sale Sharks were beaten for the seventh consecutive Aviva Premiership game this season, as they went down 23-16 at Worcester Warriors this evening.

Andy Goode scored 18 points - 13 with his boot - and David Lemi also touched down for the hosts.

Mark Cueto and Nick Mcleod both crossed over for Sale, but neither try was converted by an out-of-sorts Danny Cipriani.

However, Cipriani did successfully kick two penalties which saw the Salford club scrape a losing bonus point.

Sale remain firmly rooted to the bottom of the table, having taken two points from seven games.

Meanwhile, Worcester are eighth with 15 from seven.
