Paul Warwick avoids serious injury

Paul Warwick has said that he was stretchered off in last night's Challenge Cup game as a precaution.

The Worcester Warriors fly-half received treatment on the pitch for almost 20 minutes after sustaining a neck injury and was taken straight to hospital.

However, the 33-year-old tweeted in the early hours this morning: "Really appreciate all the concern! Very much precaution I think, but as always thank you to all involved in taking care of me!"

Warwick kicked his team's only points of the game in the 21-3 defeat to Sale Sharks.
