Mark McCall: 'David Strettle was instrumental'

Saracens head coach Mark McCall highlights the performance of David Strettle following Sunday's victory over London Welsh in the Aviva Premiership.

Saracens head coach Mark McCall has highlighted the contribution of David Strettle following Sunday's 35-14 victory over London Welsh in the Aviva Premiership.

The England international scored his side's final try at Vicarage Road as Sarries returned to the top of the table.

"David is playing the best he's played in certainly the last three seasons," McCall told Sky Sports News.

"Obviously he's scored a try but he was instrumental in the build up to some of the others so he's playing as well as he has since he joined us."

Saracens are back in action next Sunday when they make the trip to Sale Sharks in the semi-finals of the LV=Cup.
