Sale Sharks cruise to win over Worcester Warriors

Sale Sharks score four tries to beat Worcester Warriors 26-10 in the Aviva Premiership.

Sale Sharks secured a comfortable 26-10 win over Worcester Warriors in the Aviva Premiership this evening.

There was little between the two sides in the first half, but a well-timed chip from Danny Cipriani set up Mark Cueto for the opening try of the match, allowing the home side to edge ahead at half time.

James Gaskell extended Sale's lead early in the second half, while further efforts from Daniel Braid and Tom Arscott secured the extra point.

Ofa Fainga'anuku gave the visitors some late hope, but Arscott's late effort sealed the win for the Sharks.

The result leaves Sale eighth in the table, while Worcester remain without a win this season.
