Danny Cipriani enjoys Sale Sharks comeback

Danny Cipriani has admitted that he enjoyed Sale Sharks' dramatic victory over Cardiff Blues in the Heineken Cup on Sunday.

Without a win in six matches, the Sharks found themselves 24-9 down at the Salford City Stadium before Cipriani came off the bench to inspire them towards a 34-33 triumph.

"It's something we've been longing for," said Cipriani. "We had to give the fans something to cheer about and we did.

"I enjoyed it. It was good fun. I think the boys were playing pretty well before I came on so it was seamless to fit in there."

Cipriani joined the Sharks from Melbourne Rebels over the summer.
