Oyonnax ease past Sale Sharks 16-10

Oyonnax have eased past Sale Sharks 16-7 in the Amlin Challenge Cup this evening.

Sale started the brighter of the two sides and they gained the lead when Fraser McKenzie went over the line after 13 minutes before Nick Macleod converted to cancel out Benjamin Urdapilleta's early penalty.

Urdapilleta added another penalty six minutes after McKenzie's try before he grabbed a conversion after Agustin Figuerola went over the line for the home side on 22 minutes.

Nicolas Vuillemin added a penalty of his own towards the end of the game to make the result safe for the French side.

Joe Ford kicked a late drop goal to claim a losing bonus point.
