Northampton Saints sign Samoan full-back Ahsee Tuala

Samoan full-back Ahsee Tuala moves to Northampton Saints on a deal until the end of the season.

Northampton Saints have signed Samoan full-back Ahsee Tuala on a deal until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old has been brought to Franklin's Gardens as injury cover for Ben Foden, who was recently ruled out for the rest of the campaign with a serious knee injury.

Tuala made his senior international debut back in November during his country's win over Canada.

"Ahsee is a quality player who can play in a number of positions, and is well known to our other Samoan internationals, who will no doubt help him fit into the culture here at Northampton and the way we do things," director of rugby Jim Mallinder told the club's official website.

The Saints are back in action on Saturday when they host Wasps in the LV= Cup.
