Northampton Saints add to Worcester Warriors' woes

Northampton add to Worcester's woes

Worcester Warriors remain without a win in this season's Aviva Premiership after surrendering two leads during a 33-10 defeat to Northampton Saints on Saturday.

The hosts led 7-6 at half time courtesy of Ignacio Mieres's self-converted try, which followed two Stephen Myler penalties for Saints.

Another Myler penalty edged Northampton ahead six minutes after the break, but Worcester restored their lead when Chris Pennell split the posts moments later.

However, converted tries in the final 19 minutes from from Samu Manoa, Tom Collins and Tom Wood ended Worcester's hopes of adding to their Premiership tally, which now stands at two points from nine games.

Myler finished the match with an 18-point haul, after kicking another penalty late on.
