Chris Bell backs Wasps' move to Coventry's Ricoh Arena

Wasps centre Chris Bell believes that the club's decision to move to the Ricoh Arena in coventry is "hugely positive", despite anger from fans.

Wasps centre Chris Bell believes that the team's move to Coventry is "hugely positive" for the club.

The Wycombe-based outfit have purchased a 50% stake in the Ricoh Arena, and games will be played there from December.

Many fans have expressed their discontent in the move, but Bell believes that it is necessary for the club to "sustain" a business.

"It's hugely positive I think for the club," Bell told BBC Sport. "I understand it is going to be a little bit of upheaval for fans and players as well, but it has to happen for the club.

"We don't generate enough income at Wycombe to sustain a business that we want, and to sustain a playing squad we need to have to compete in this league. The players have been kept informed relatively well. We are really excited as a group."

Wasps will share the ground with League One club Coventry City.
