Newcastle Falcons coach Alan Tait has vowed to make new signings after his team's 16-16 draw with Worcester Warriors on Friday night.
The Falcons found themselves 16-9 down with three minutes to go at Kingston Park but a late Mike Mayhew try, which was converted, saw them snatch a share of the points.
Tait was left disappointed with the performance of his team and wants to bring in new faces to help improve their fortunes.
"It's two points that will help us no end," said Tait. "We should have been fast out of the traps but we were very nervy and we only seem to start to play when all seems lost.
"We have to start believing in ourselves. We have a fantastic squad but they have to realise that this is only November and not April and stop being so nervous.
"We will add to the squad [on Saturday] with the signing of Adriaan Fondse, who is a big ball carrying line-out player, and there are more on the way because our new owner has been fantastic and is giving us real backing."
Newcastle's draw with Worcester leaves them rooted to the bottom of the Aviva Premiership table.
